Refund Policy

We aim to be straightforward and fair about refunds. The summary below reflects our standard approach; specifics depend on the service stage and what has already been paid to third parties.

This document is a template. Before launch, it must be reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel. It does not constitute legal advice.

1. Before filing has been submitted

If you have paid for a formation service and we have not yet submitted the filing to the state, you may request a full refund of the service fee minus a small payment processing charge.

2. After filing has been submitted

Once a filing has been submitted to a state agency, the state fee is non-refundable per state policy. Our service fee may be partially refunded depending on the work already completed; we will explain the breakdown when you request the refund.

3. EIN, BOI, and add-on services

If we have not yet started work on an add-on service (e.g., apostille, ITIN, translation), you may request a full refund minus processing.

Once work has started, refunds are prorated. Once the deliverable has been completed and delivered, refunds are not available.

4. Subscriptions and renewals

Annual services (e.g., registered agent renewal) are charged annually and are non-refundable once the renewal period has begun. You may cancel to prevent the next renewal at any time.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@registeredagent.appzo.app with your account email and order details. We respond within one business day.

6. Disputes

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We will work with you in good faith to resolve concerns quickly.
